In 2023 and 2024, we participated in the Portland 48-hour film project. The 48-hour film project is a competition that is held worldwide in various cities throughout the year. We were challenged to write, film, and edit a movie within 48 hours. Out of 30 possible genres, two genres were selected for each team to choose from; each team could include both genres if desired. We were also given a specific character, a mandated prop, and a mandated line of dialogue.

In 2023, we were selected for the “Best of Portland 48-hour Film Project Show”! In 2023, we were given “comedy” and “climate.” We were lucky to film in the location of a commercial airplane that is located in the woods. A guy actually lives in it!

In 2024, we were selected “Film Noir.” We were lucky to film at a mansion! It worked out well for our genre.
